10 Things We Learned From Season 1 Of Ash Vs. Evil Dead

8. You Can Always Use More Gore

Ash vs. Evil Dead is the bloodiest show on TV, outdoing its closest competition, The Walking Dead, by a country mile. While the shows are extremely different in tone and content, it's the one area where they're very comparable, and if you like a splatterfest, Ash and company win hands down. Thing is, it hasn't become tiring yet. The gore is pretty much a staple of the show, and unlike other genre series, Ash vs. Evil Dead isn't afraid to let blood spurt and limbs fly. It's the sort of thing even major motion pictures can't get away with thanks to the MPAA's dreaded NC-17 rating, and that even grisly shows like Game of Thrones and the aforementioned Walking Dead are loathe to attempt. The fact that it's often played for dark laughs might make Ash's case a little different, but it's still, well, gross. Yet fun. So what have we learned? You can never have too much gore!
