10 Things We Need To See In Doom Patrol Season 2

There's something to be said for how Doom Patrol doesn't feel like just another cliché superhero adaptation, with generic action set pieces, which focuses on heroes defeating villains in an all out brawl where good defeats evil through sheer physical force. But there's also something to be said for flame throwers.

Doom Patrol is a show that centers primarily around trauma, dysfunction, and familial bonds, and exploring how one misfit family grows together and deals with their pasts. In that sense, it does the comics justice. But that doesn't mean it couldn't also use a flame thrower.

As anyone who's ever read a comic would expect, one commonly recurring plot in Doom Patrol comics is Cliff getting upgraded. He's had rocket thrusters that let him fly, laser canons that come out of his arms, and of course, flame throwers, among other upgrades.

Sure, it's not crucial to the show or essential to the character, but come on, DC. Give Robotman a flame thrower.
