A couple of years before attending CalArts, Brie worked as a clown at childrens birthday parties. She would don a yellow wig and suit, do her own face paint, and drive to the kids houses under the name of Sunny. It sounds like a lot of fun, but she sometimes had to wear a mini dress and oversized head to play Disney princesses while dads scoped her out. Guys, if you find yourself checking out the teenager dressed as Snow White making balloon animals for your kid, youve taken a wrong turn somewhere. Still, while its pretty common for actors to have the performance bug from a young age, there cant be too many who started off as clowns. It was probably great training for bringing a manic, comedic energy to her roles, and its a nice thought that someone can come from those humble beginnings and become such a well-respected figure in the entertainment world.
