In a world where celebrities are constantly put on pedestals above everyone else, Lively looks the part, but is very much down-to-earth, a world away from the setting of Gossip Girl, with a string of quotes to prove that she's just a regular person, something that's often forgotten in Hollywood. She's previously said: "Yeah, I don't comment on my relationships... My anonymity is something I treasure. Wanting to be an actor and wanting to be famous are different," when asked about her personal life, and she said: "I don't drink. I don't do drugs. I grew up with the mindset that after work you go to dinner and watch a movie. I don't want to go to a club and not wear panties," when questions about her lifestyle have arisen. She defies a lot of the modern Hollywood conventions, despite being involved in a show based on them. Think of Gossip Girl and all it offers, and you'll think of Blake Lively, when in fact, she's the exact opposite in real life.
