10 Things You Didn't Know About Blake Lively

8. Her First Major Film Role

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=555u4H7w8xk Lively's first minor role came as the tooth fairy in the 1998 film, Sandman, directed by her father, but it was a minor role rather than her big acting break. Still, the experience would have been worthwhile as Lively finally put aside dreams of Stanford University and aimed to get into the film world. Her first major role came in 2005 by landing one of the lead roles in The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants, filmed between her junior and senior years at Burbank High School, and claimed that to get the part, all she did was walk into the audition room, hand the panel a photo of herself and then walked out, to the bemusement of the producers who loved her. From then, her career steadily grew with parts in Accepted, Simon Says, Elvis And Anabelle, and a Sisterhood sequel in 2008, before gaining widespread critical acclaim for her performance in The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee just one year later.
