7. She's On Track To Be The Longest Serving NuWho Companion...
Yay! It's a role in which Jenna hasn't ended up in jail. Well, not yet, at least. If being the longest serving companion of the revived series of Doctor Who is a punishable crime, though, it's definitely where she'll be heading. That's because Clara Oswald really is the one to beat as far as the show's 21st century sidekicks are concerned. After making her unannounced debut in Series 7's Asylum of the Daleks (yes, she was technically Oswin Oswald bad then, but it still counts, OK?!), everybody's favourite - *ahem* - impossible girl has appeared in 25 episodes which means that she's just about to knock her reigning processor Amy Pond off the prestigious timey-wimey throne. Karen Gillan starred in a record breaking 33 episodes (excluding mini-episodes and her brief cameo in The Time of the Doctor) but Clara's got a whole other series to go yet which means that she'll have been travelling with the Doctor for a grand total of 37 episodes by the time Series 9 has been and gone. That is, if she survives all of it.
