Critics have claimed that Matt Smith can act the socks off anyone but what they don't mention is that he only does it so he can nab said socks and keep them for himself. Probably. That's right. Matt Smith, as well as being a beloved cult icon, multiple award winning actor and one of GQ's 50 best dressed men (OK, so that last one actually compliments this point!), is a self confessed sock fanatic. No... seriously! It sounds like the whole thing is getting way out of hand, too (or way out of foot, to be more precise), because the actor has revealed that he's now taken to stealing socks from photoshoots because he can't bear to part with them. Whatever floats your boat, Matt! That's just the tip of the iceberg, too. He has also confessed to spending £100 on a single pair (were they made of gold or something!?) and that's when you know you've got a serious problem.
