10 Things You Didn’t Know About Vikings' Travis Fimmel
He's more than just ridiculously pretty eyes.
Historys Vikings is known for its absolutely brutal fights, breath-taking Irish scenery, amazing theme song (If I Had A Heart by Fever Ray), and a cast of seriously beautiful, rugged men, with Travis Fimmel (who plays farmer-turned-king Ragnar Lothbrok) leading the pack. The show focuses on the mythological Norse heros notorious raids on England and France and daily life for the warriors, shield-maidens, kings and princesses of the 10th century and with the third season underway, fans are dying to know more about the epic saga and its cast. Travis Fimmel, the good-looking 35-year-old who plays Earl Ragnar Lothbrok, was born on 15 July 1979 and raised on a cattle ranch in a small town near Melbourne. He was the youngest of three brothers, his father was a farmer and his mother a nurse, and Travis grew up with old-school family values and a love for nature. As if his good looks and piercing blue eyes (and an uncanny resemblance to Charlie Hunnam) arent enough to make you fall in love with him immediately it might be his humble nature that makes him most appealing of all. Good looks aside, Travis is a brilliant actor who brings a sense of honesty to his characters. He's so good, in fact, that they've picked him to play Sir Anduin Lothar in the new Warcraft film. But what else do you need to know about the blue-eyed warrior king?
