1. 2011 - A New Beginning
In 2011, club president Clay Morrow began to show his true colours as he agreed that the club would begin transporting cocaine for the Galindo cartel. Drug running was something the Sons had never been involved in, and it didn't sit well with several members of the club. The new motion passed with a 6-5 vote, but put a huge divide between the members supporting Jax and Clay respectively. Seeing all the problems within the club, Clay is very concerned about losing his presidency and starts taking drastic actions to cover his already questionable behavior. He recruits members of the cartel to kidnap Tara which leaves her hand broken, he shoots and kills Piney - the only remaining founding member and in his most desperate act, assaults Gemma. After everything that's happened, Opie takes it upon himself to remove Clay from the club and shoots him. As season four closes, Jax takes over the presidency of the club marking a new beginning for the Sons of Anarchy come September 11th.
