In 2011, Carice took on the role of the life of Ingrid Jonker, a South African poet and writer. It was a Dutch production and was directed by Paula van der Oest.

In the film, Carice is in a relationship to none other than Liam Cunningham, the actor who plays Davos Seaworth in Game of Thrones. Now, if you're an avid GOT watcher, it would be really difficult to picture these two even getting along a bit, let alone become a couple, and yet the actors pull it off with ease.

Carice joked via Twitter and reminded fans of this random Game of Thrones pairing by posting an image from the film, writing, "Davos & Melisandre. Don't say they didn't try.. #blackbutterflies"
