7. She Played Milhouse's Cousin And Bart's Crush In The Simpsons
In April 2015, Carice found herself in Springfield, voicing a character called Annika van Houten - Milhouse's Dutch cousin and new love interest of Bart Simpson. Annika was a badass teen from Amsterdam with blue hair and blue eyebrows, piercings and she even smoked e-cigarettes.
Apparently the writers of The Simpsons thought it was amusing that Carice had the same surname as Millhouse and because most of them are big fans of Game of Thrones, started befriending the actress on Twitter. Before long, they invited her to a table read and eventually they offered her the role.
"I got an email that said, 'It is happening,'" she told the Hollywood Reporter. "My voice was so high-pitched when I heard. I was jumping up and down like a little girl. I've never been as enthusiastic about any job."
