10 Things You Should Probably Hate About Doctor Who

3. The Unreliable Hero

"I'll be back in 5 minutes," he said, before returning over a decade later. Seriously. No wonder Amy Pond was so messed up, and how are we really supposed to trust the Doctor when he keeps swanning off all of the time?! You never really know what mood you're going to find him in, either (particularly with the Twelfth Doctor), and sometimes you wonder why your favourite companions are even staying with him in the first place. He treated Clara like something you'd find on the bottom of you shoe for most of Series 8 and, although it's all in the name of him being 'fiercer' than his predecessor, surely that process didn't have to involve him forgetting the fundamental rules of common decency? He spends enough time with 'stupid apes' to know what's deemed socially acceptable, after all, but apparently the last 2,000 years of human interaction have just gone out of the window. And does he agree with genocide or not!? Usually he's against it in all its forms but sometimes he lets his true Time Lord essence gets the better of him. The Racnoss, anyone? Thank God Donna Noble was there to stop him, and let's not forget that he was also single handedly responsible for the destruction of his entire race. Oh, wait... he wasn't. See. Who knows what to believe anymore!?
