Comedy CentralQuite a legitimate name except for the 'fun' part. Comprised of three mostly joyless stories rehashing beloved old cartoons, this episode doesn't feels right in Futurama. It's again the problem of being too out of touch with its own formula. It's not like spoof genre doesn't itrinsically belong to Futurama (Bender's Game fared pretty well), just it felt more as an attempt to ape Simpsons or Family Guy rather than create something worthy. The overwhelming majority of jokes fell flat, and Nixon's head watching children's cartoons questions one's suspension of disbelief more than the very fact it lives separated from the body. It's possibly one of the worst tie-in characters featured in Futurama's segmented episodes. If there was a contest for the most skippable Futurama episode, this one would win by a big margin.
