10 Times Star Trek Foretold The Apocalypse
2. A Leads To B Leads To BOOM!
Unlike for those vague Prophécies made to fit, the accuracy of predicting the future increases vastly if you are from it. More than just a regular Nostradamus, perhaps Captain Braxton was Nostradamus. After all, we never did find out about Voyager's third temporal "violation," which he had to repair. As for the first, "the end is coming," although the sun's still shining on the boardwalk.
When he still had his pencils on late 20th century Earth, Braxton managed to scribble down all the chronometric data he could remember before his emergency beam-out for some flower power. No, it wasn't Voyager that would end the future, it was 'C' in the equation, and man still voted 'most likely to succeed' by Elon Musk — Henry Starling.
For that version of Braxton, the 'A' in his "A leads to B leads to…" was, in fact, an explosion in the 29th century that had wiped out Earth and the rest of the solar system (Xindi eat your heart out!). And all because the greedy Starling couldn't pilot a time ship if his tucked-in polo shirt depended on it. Thankfully, he and the far future's apocalypse were no match for Captain Janeway in torpedo bay one.
