10 Times Star Trek Reused Sets And Hoped You Wouldn't Notice

9. La Sirena/The Shrike

Star Trek: Picard's third season served as a bit of a soft-reboot to the series, one which had been largely fractured as it was. The first and second seasons saw much of the starship action aboard La Sirena, Cristóbal Rios' unregistered freighter. This was a departure from the normal Starfleet vessels that audiences were used to - mostly because it wasn't a Starfleet vessel.

Rios, on the other hand, very much was Starfleet, something Picard spotted right away. He commented on the cleanliness aboard the ship, along with the order its commander kept it in. La Sirena would appear, albeit briefly, in the third season, now under the command of Raffi Musiker.

The entire cargo section of La Sirena, however, appeared several more times throughout the series. Captain Vadic obviously had a thing for Rios' and Musiker's ship - as she borrowed the cargo section to transform it into the bridge of her vessel, the Shrike.

While the transformation is fairly extensive, there is a thematic positivity to this. The third season of the show clears much of the story, and characters, of the first two seasons off the board (for financial reasons as much as anything else) - but this inclusion of La Sirena could, in a way, be seen as retaining a little bit of Rios - even if the Shrike is desperately trying to kill our heroes, that is.
