10 Times The Walking Dead Ripped Off Game Of Thrones

4. Wolves

Of course they aren't used in the same way, but wolves are a key part of both shows. In Game Of Thrones, the wolf represents the Stark family and their direwolves are a living symbol of that, while in The Walking Dead, the Wolves started to enter the fold around Season 5 as a merciless set of butchers, slaughtering for survival. The two groups couldn't be further away from each other if they tried, yet if you listen to the Lannister lies from King's Landing in Thrones, the 'wolves' are a traitorous, dishonourable, wild group. It's interesting that the wolves symbolism is used in both shows, and in the eyes of the most powerful people from TWD and GOT, they're savages.
