For a zombie apocalypse the lawns are unusually pristine in The Walking Dead. This is one of those things that isn't distracting until you actually notice it, but it seems everywhere Rick and his crew go they are followed by a phantom hedge-trimmer. The show has already had the Termites and welcomed the reappearance of Morgan 'Clearer' Jones, so it's perhaps not out of the question that such a person exists in The Walking Dead universe, but more likely is that those involved with the show can't be bothered to wait while the grass grows for six months each season. Now the group find themselves in Alexandria it would make sense if they keep their lawns nice and tidy, but keep an eye open next time they head into the suburbs of some abandoned town for suspiciously shorn lawns.
