10 Times You Can't Believe South Park Actually Went There

7. They Ridiculed Caitlyn Jenner’s Fatal Crash Repeatedly

On April 2015, Caitlyn Jenner officially came out as a trans woman, which left a massive impact on the LGBTQ+ community. Because this announcement was a media sensation, it was no surprise when the South Park creators incorporated Jenner in a storyline that same year (despite the fact she died in a previous episode half a decade earlier).

At first, you would assume Parker and Stone simply put Jenner in several episodes to make fun of her appearance (which they do). But that's not the only thing she's belittled for. In February 2015, Jenner was involved in a car crash, which led to the death of animal rights activist, Kim Howe. Although most people were oblivious about this tragedy since news outlets barely covered it, South Park ensured everybody was fully aware of it. In every scene where Caitlyn Jenner drives, she crashes into and kills at least one person, often after she utters her catchphrase, "Buckle up, buckaroos!"

Each time Jenner gets involved in one of these fatal crashes, nobody seems to care. Instead of freaking out or calling the police, the witnesses of her hit-and-runs cheer her on, commending her for her bravery.
