10 Transformers Who SWITCHED SIDES

7. Scourge (Cybertron)

Scourge may not be as well known as some others on this list, but the mighty three-headed dragon king of Jungle Planet should not be overlooked. If you're unfamiliar with Transformers: Cybertron, by which I don't mean War for Cybertron or Fall of Cybertron, or even Netflix's new Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy, then let me catch you up.

In this Transformers tv show, the Autobots and Decepticons were locked in a race to find the four Cyber Planet Keys. With these McGuffins, the good guys could save Cybertron, or the bad guys could conquer the universe, something like that. Classic Decepticon goals.

One of the Cyber Keys was on Jungle Planet, a world full of bestial transformers. Scourge ruled with an iron grip, believing only in survival of the fittest. Surprise, surprise, he and Megatron got along pretty well. Until Optimus Prime challenged him, and Scourge felt the power of a Prime first hand. Needless to say he was impressed.

However, that bout between leaders wasn't the only thing to sway the beastly king towards the Autobots. It was in fact the words of Lori Jimenez, one of their human companions, that showed him that the true value of strength came from working together as a team. Classic Autobot ideals.
