4. Stephen King's It
Krusty the Clown will clearly be filling in for Pennywise in this one. Depending on your feelings about clowns, It is either an extremely long Stephen King novel with an underage orgy at the end, or just about the most terrifying damn novel to ever be found on a bookstore's shelves. The book was adapted into a mini-series featuring the always fantastic Tim Curry in 1990, and could be a great parody that could team up many of Springfield Elementary's denizens including Bart, Milhouse, Lisa, Nelson, Martin, and others. The adults would of course be clueless to the shapeshifting sometimes clown creature terrorizing the town, and the kids would end up combating Krusty, far from the confines of his kids show set.
