Why It Was Undeserved

If you didn't yet completely loathe evil criminal and meth cook Todd (Jesse Plemons) by this point, his totally senseless, impulsive murder of a teenage boy, Drew Sharp (Samuel Webb), sealed the deal.

Early in the show's fifth and final season, Drew is riding his bike when he stumbles across Walter (Bryan Cranston), Jesse (Aaron Paul) and Todd in the aftermath of their successful train heist.

Despite clearly having no idea what just happened and giving the guys a polite wave, Drew is shot by Todd moments later under the pretense of keeping their actions covert, after which the poor boy's corpse is dissolved in hydrofluoric acid.

If you ever want to make the audience despise a villain that little bit more, just have them wantonly kill an innocent child. It always works.

Though it was clearly a quickly death for Drew, the grotesque disposal of his body and the fact that his parents will never get closure on his disappearance makes it all the more horrifying.
