10 TV Finales That Made You Embarrassed You Ever Cared
2. Game Of Thrones - The Iron Throne
At this point, any list article with a title like this would be at fault if it didn't include the "what the hell?" finale of Game of Thrones. For six seasons, the show took its time with the narrative, while the last two seasons rushed through the story like an unforgiving tornado.
The quality of season eight diminished with every episode, and the finale 'The Iron Throne' hit the final nail in the coffin as it blasted all expectations by simply not caring about the story before it.
From the way the show handled the end of Dany's short-lived tyranny, to the controversial pick for who finally rests on the throne, everything about the carefully woven story was dismantled in just over sixty minutes.
Jon Snow's heritage meant nothing, Arya's nihilistic story arc was left unfinished, and even the resolution of Tyrion's storyline felt incomplete. The season finale as a whole felt like it dragged; and even worse was the show's writers had to explain moments and scenes in interviews because they didn't have the creative knowledge to show the audience.
For almost a decade fans devoted a lot to GoT, only to have it thrown back in their faces.
