10 TV Moments IMPOSSIBLE To Watch Same Way After This
3. Rod & Tod Are Devil Children - The Simpsons
There are few shows - if any, in fact - more packed with clever gags, references, and Easter eggs than The Simpsons. It's so densely crammed with easily missed details, in fact, that fans are still discovering them from episodes that aired literally decades ago.
Case in point, we have the season nine episode "Bart Star," where Homer becomes the coach of a pee-wee football team and gives Bart the unearned position of quarterback.
During the football scenes, keep an eye on Rod and Tod Flanders, whose football jerseys bear the numbers 66 and 6 respectively.
In one scene we briefly see the brothers stood next to one another, spelling out 666, as is of course referred to as "the number of the beast" in Christianity.
While this is obviously just a fun goof on the part of the show's animation team, it's also hilarious to consider the possibility that Ned's been unknowingly raising the spawn of Satan this whole damn time. It changes the whole show, naturally.
