Proof He's a Moron: 'People said I was dumb, but I proved them.' Fry is one of the best developed characters in animated sitcom history. He's also one of the slowest. If you were to play a game of listing off dumb Philip Fry quotes, you'd be at it all night. Guaranteed. But for what the 20th century young man lacks in brains, he makes up for in heart. Capable of so much love. Be it dog, robot or cyclops, Fry can surely dish out the warm fuzzy stuff. And lots of it, at that. It's a beautiful thing when a cartoon character can genuinely make you laugh and make you cry. Fry does it effortlessly.
