3. What Happened In The Future? - Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles had a relatively short life, coming it in a measly two seasons before it was cancelled (well ahead of its time, so might argue). And at the end of the show's second season, John and Cameron had no choice but to travel into the future to escape the clutches of some assassins. Upon arrival, John was both shocked and confused to find that his uncle, Derek, was alive, and that - shocker! - nobody had ever heard of John Connor. Twisty, hm?

Well, yes, and also completely unresolved in the most frustrating way possible. Many fans of the show were genuinely heart-broken as too never finding out what happened with this particularly intriguing plot thread, which means there were at least twelve people were heart-broken the world over. Just kidding. Fifteen, at least.
