10 TV Series On Netflix That Need Binge Watching

10. The Killing

Who wants to start their Netflix journey with something light hearted and relaxing, when you can go all-out heart attack inducing with the US version of The Killing? Created by Veena Sub, The Killing follows detectives Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder as they attempt to track down the murderer of local teenager, Rosie Larsen. With seventeen year old Larsen€™s body being found dumped in the back of a politician€™s car, this horrific crime leads to a thrilling investigation filled with am all number twists and turns! With knock-out performances from the likes of Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman, The Killing is a must see for any budding at-home investigator! Not only is The Killing a stunning and gut-wrenching, emotion story but it€™s pretty damn good-looking too. Despite being set in Seattle and forever raining, it€™s a stylish and beautiful set up, with enough rolling camera shots and mist-infused scenes to keep die-hard cinema fans happy. The character development within all four seasons is also seriously impressive, allowing audiences to settle back into a bubble of entertainment that soothes you as well as shocking you back into the harsh reality of the shows situation. The core relationship between Linden and Holder is pure genius and goes far being the traditional buddy cop relationship you tend to see in this genre. Thanks to the brilliant writing, just when you think you've got is all sussed out something comes along and throws this fictional world upside down all over again.
