8. Chibs From Sons Of Anarchy

Sons of Anarchy followed motorcycle club SAMCRO during their violent and bloody years working for the True Irish Republican Army by setting up a charter in America.

The series followed Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) as he and his fellow club members aimed to keep the secrets of SAMCRO safe. One of his most trusted advisors in the club was Chibs (Tommy Flanagan), a character with strong ties to the IRA. As the only Scotish member, Chibs had a deep backstory that we think should be explored in his own prequel series.

While Chibs was born in Scotland, he grew up in Ireland and was once a member of the IRA before being run out by fellow IRA brother Jimmy O'Phelan (Titus Welliver). He was jealous of Chibs and wanted his wife Fiona (Bellina Logan) for himself. Once Jimmy successfully removed Chibs, he married Fiona and raised their daughter like his own.

A series following a young Chibs during his time with the IRA would be nothing short of spectacular. We would be able to see the rise of the SAMCRO charter we've come to know and love and see just how much Chibs lost when Jimmy took everything from him.

This would give the series a much needed look into the dynamics of these Irish gangsters. We’d love to see more of Chibs in his younger years, especially since he ends up being the President of SAMCRO by the end of the series.

At its heart, Sons of Anarchy was about family and betrayal. Chibs is the perfect character to carry on that mantle while still holding true to the original series.
