8. Fonzie's Jacket Is Brown, Not Black - Happy Days
Even if you've never even seen a single episode of legendary sitcom Happy Days, if somebody asks you what colour Fonzie's (Henry Winkler) iconic leather jacket is, you're probably going to say black, right?
Wrong.
Go back and check - The Fonz actually rocks a dark brown jacket throughout the show, and never once wears a black one.
While in fairness dark brown isn't a million miles away from black, it's still fascinating that millions of people have remembered this wrong - at least if the Internet is to be believed.
Ultimately the most likely source of the confusion is younger viewers mixing up The Fonz with John Travolta's Grease character Danny Zuko, who does indeed wear a similar-looking, but definitely black, leather jacket.
Given Grease's greater popularity in general pop-culture, it's easy to believe that Danny's wardrobe has effectively rewritten people's memories of The Fonz's duds, what with both characters being jacket-wearing greasers.
