1. Gossip Girl
In you're wondering "How did it take them this long to cancel Gossip Girl?" then stop, because it didn't.
This version is actually a sequel of the popular noughties show with a mostly new cast, although we do get a couple of cameos from old favourites.
And also Kristen Bell is back as the narrator, because the show would not be the same without her.
With all the salaciousness and scandal of its predecessor, fans had high hopes for Gossip Girl 2.0. Those hopes were dashed on January 19th when showrunner Joshua Safran announced on Twitter that the show's time was coming to an end.

Despite being the most-watched HBO original series ever upon its launch, the steam just ran out and the network had had enough.
At least the show had already had a run before this, so this wasn't too much of a disappointment.
Could have at least signed off with "XO" though...
