10 TV Shows From The '90s That Totally Overused The Word "Totally"

5. Charmed

Original Run: 1998 - 2006 Charmed followed the adventures of three powerful witches - the Halliwell sisters, Prue, Piper and Phoebe (and later Paige, following the death of Prue). Known as the Charmed Ones, it was their responsibility to protect the world from evil beings, ranging from demons and monsters to ghosts and warlocks - and yet they totally spoke like a bunch of snooty sorority sisters. While they were older than those who typically used the word "totally", the sisters' behaviour around each other was indeed often fairly sorority-esque and they would use the term a lot. Like, way too much. Like, Totally Examples:Phoebe: Okay, Piper tell me the truth. Am I a boyfriend thief? Piper: Totally. Piper: Wait, you had time to get to work already? Prue: Well, actually, I woke up there but it was amazing. I had all these assistants and this huge office. And I have a chauffeur and he's so totally hot. Uh... How'd you do? *Piper laughs ironically*
