9. Young Sheldon
Everybody's favourite (or least favourite) child genius, Sheldon Cooper, returns to CBS on 29 September 2022.
This Big Bang Theory spin-off has now outlasted its parent show, which finished in 2019. Clearly there's still an appetite for the universe of the show, as Young Sheldon has been put out a new season every single year since it debuted in 2017.
This season of the show will likely pick up where the fifth season left off; Sheldon facing puberty and worrying about what the future will hold. There's also the interesting plot of Sheldon's brother and grandmother getting arrested for smuggling cigarettes in from Mexico, which is just as bonkers as it sounds.
Despite actual viewing figures going down, Young Sheldon is still a popular show in terms of the share of the viewing audience. Linear TV might be in a worse state that Sheldon's social skills, but the network is clearly happy with this show as they've already picked it up for a seventh season.
And with star, Iain Armitage, only being 14-years-old, there's no doubt that CBS will continue to make the most of his youthful charm before he stops being cute anymore.
