Ever since 1994, Friends has been one of the biggest shows on TV, and even after 16 years since the finale, it is still incredibly popular. With a long-awaited reunion show in the works for HBO Max, now would be the perfect time to capitalise on the hype surrounding the show.
With it taking this long to get the six stars back together again, it's unlikely we'd get all of them to host a podcast. However, we wouldn't need a full complement for every single episode, just two or three of the Friends each week, potentially on a rotating basis? There would be so many potential combinations of the six, and some that would just be perfect for certain episodes.
Imagine the amazing conversations we could hear. What does Matt LeBlanc think about Joey's womanising all these years later? What did Matthew Perry really go through between seasons six and seven? What secrets can be revealed now that even a live studio audience couldn't see back in the day?
Without a doubt, Friends will never go out of fashion, and there will always be a place for rewatching the classics. What better way to do that than with the cast themselves?
