The past decade has seen television flourish in a way that it never quite did before. With the explosion of streaming service entertainment, cinematic-level TV shows and a superhero renaissance, the TV industry has evolved above and beyond what was ever expected of it. And yet, it remains more fickle a business than ever.
Thus, while this new decade will bring forth plenty of new beginnings, it will also see plenty of shows reach the end of the line. Yes, unfortunately, a huge number of TV shows are already set to bow out this year, with long-standing favourites like Arrow, Supernatural and Criminal Minds wrapping up their impressive runs, while others were prematurely cancelled and have yet to air their final seasons.
