3. Altered Carbon
The freshest blow of them all, Altered Carbon was a victim of Netflix's recent cull. Though it hadn't been renewed prior to its cancellation, it wasn't exactly one of the favourites for the chopping block either.
The first season of the retro sci-fi series starred Joel Kinnaman in a futuristic world in which you could literally transfer your consciousness into somebody else's body. This ended up becoming a pretty nifty way of rebooting the show for Season 2 as Anthony Mackie took over from Kinnaman in the leading role.
It's a shame that Altered Carbon won't be returning to our screens because it was quite an immersive watch. Furthermore, it did justice to the innovative story of Richard K. Morgan's novel that, in spite of its flaws, continually showed promise and it boasted some of the most impressive sights you'll find on any screen today.
