10 TV Shows That Should Never Have Made It Past The Pilot

5. Cavemen (2007), 13 episodes

Cavemen So somewhere a few years ago, someone said, "You know those Geico TV ads with the hipster cavemen living in modern times? We should totally make a TV series out of that!" That someone should have then been dragged out into the street and devoured by a rabid platypus. Since that didn't happen, a pilot was made, and a TV series was launched. Surprisingly, it wasn't horrible. I actually found it reasonably entertaining, but I wasn't surprised when it was cancelled. The public weren't really behind it, as obviously they weren't going to be, and the writer's strike in 2007 finished off any chance it had of being at all successful.
