10 TV Shows That Should’ve Been Awesome (But Utterly Failed)

5. Hex

Rsz 1rsz Hex Wall Hex 574662 1024 768 When Hex first came out it was hailed "The British Buffy". With its begrudging blonde heroine (for the first season, at least) and lesbian best friend working against supernatural crime, Hex also brought more sex appeal, sarcasm, and unflinching teenage angst than its only possible comparison. The show was prepared to go hard rather than go home, and was often touching, intelligent, and downright hilarious. Not only that, but it's cast was faultless €“ hands up if you like Michael Fassbender. Hands up if you like him playing a sexy evil angel who only wears suits. Unfortunately it suffered from glaring plot holes and ridiculous plot tangents (why, WHY would you shag the self-professed bad guy who murdered your best friend and drove your mother into a mental institution?) Season 2, whilst having a very strong beginning, turned into a confusing and poorly-thought-out farce more than anything else, leading to it's close on a huge cliffhanger which still goes unresolved.

Fan of Taylor Swift and the Dead Kennedys (a duet I can only dream of). I like dystopias, slasher films, and video games that make me feel things.
