6. Grey's Anatomy - The Post-It Marriage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9zuqtmCyPA Sexual tension between characters is a very good way to develop them, create new storylines and, of course, to augment the ratings of the show; that's why in Friends Ross and Rachel didn't get together until the end of the series. However, if a show is going to make the big step and erase said tension in order to make an even bigger step by actually marrying the main couple, they better do it well. Grey's Anatomy didn't. This plot point was handled very well in the beginning of the storyline, however it went nowhere from there. There was no character development, and it didn't create interesting plot points that could have improved the show's lousy story. This should have been a great thing, however thanks to bad writing and poor execution, this became just another nail in the series' coffin.
