5. Scrubs - The Reboot
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PalzauBBUAQ This one was a daring move from part of the network; they did some kind of reboot on a very well known and beloved series in order to boost audiences. While still maintaining part of the original cast, they introduced new characters that you could say that carried the torch on the series, or at least tried to. With the right treatment this could have worked very well. The problem came from the fact that it didn't change a damn thing. It was the exact same show all over again; the only risk it took was doing a reboot of the series. That's it, most of the new characters were just new versions of the main cast of the original show, and you could see where the series was going after the first few episodes. This one was a time to experiment, to take some risks with the show and see what they could have come up with, but they decided to play it safe, and that cowardice caused the show to be cancelled sometime later.
