10 TV Shows With Plot Points That Go NOWHERE
7. Attack On Titan - Jean's Unrequited Love
In the world of Attack on Titan, everything ends up leading somewhere. This comes from the fact that the original creator of the Manga series - Hajime Isayama - seems to have an unbelievable eye for detail. If you see something in the show, it's there for a reason. With that being said, there is one plotline that seems to have been completely forgotten about.
Jean Kirstein is an excellent presence in AOT. His smart-ass attitude and commendable leadership skills make him stand out as a reliable character. It was made clear early on that he had some unique feelings for Mikasa after she walked past him in the training barracks, and he became enamoured with her - mainly thanks to her "really beautiful black hair".
Later in the struggle for Trost, he even stated how he "never got to tell her how he felt". But afterwards, this unrequited love angle completely dissipated. It's a shame as this side of Jean was so interesting to see. His typically confident and arrogant attitude being broken down was hilarious, and it instantly made him more relatable.
Still, it looks like JeanKasa fans will be left in the dust with this one.
