Another 3 parter! As we've already seen, it's not uncommon for a show that's set in high school to actually use a real-life school for exterior and, less often, interior too. In this case, one school's entire campus was used for the filming of 3 (technically 4) shows; both the original 90210 and the reboot shot there.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer and the original 90210 were both set in California in the late 90s and early 2000s and both used Torrance High School in Los Angeles as the base for their high school drama setting. While Buffy was fighting demons and vampires in the halls, Brenda and Brandon were living their fish-out-of-water Hollywood life.

Then 2008 rolls around and the 90210 reboot starts, and for continuity and nostalgia purposes they decided to film at the same high school that the original series did. And it just so happened that this time around, Torrance High was being used for another teen series AGAIN! The Secret Life Of An American Teenager started filming at the Los Angeles school in 2008, the same year that the 90210 reboot began.

The real students of this famous high school must have felt like movie stars - or maybe they actually hated the disruptions, who knows? All I know is that the destruction of Sunnydale High in the season 3 finale of Buffy would have been a lot funnier if they actually blew up the real school. The students would have loved that.

Lily thought it was about time she wrote Top Ten lists for people other than herself. She also owes her dog a lot of money so she thought it was about time to pay her dues. There is no tv show she likes that she hasn't seen at least twice.
