10 TV Shows You Didn't Know Shared The Same Sets

3. Gilmore Girls And Pretty Little Liars

Even though this entry is a little less discrete about their recycled sets, it's still rather cool. Pretty Little Liars basically recycled the entire town from Gilmore Girls instead of using a brand new one. The catch is, unlike shows like Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill, it's not an actual town in America (or Canada) but a fake town built entirely on the Warner Brothers lot in California. It's probably the most frugal decision that was made - the set was extremely large, and featured entire streets full of shops and restaurants and beautiful white-picket-fence houses. Reusing it meant the money they'd spent on creating the set for Gilmore Girls wouldn't go to waste, AND the studio behind Pretty Little Liars could spend their money elsewhere... like on designer outfits and creepy dolls that looked exactly like the 4 liars. Yep, money well spent.

Keen eyed fans of both shows might've spotted Miss Patti's dance studio whenever the liars wandered around town acting suspicious. Or they may have seen the familiar Luke's Diner transformed into the hip Apple Rose Grill in PLL, where the girls frequented to discuss the evil A.

Next time you're rewatching one of these iconic dramas, see if you can spot the differences and similarities between Stars Hollow and Rosewood.

Lily thought it was about time she wrote Top Ten lists for people other than herself. She also owes her dog a lot of money so she thought it was about time to pay her dues. There is no tv show she likes that she hasn't seen at least twice.
