9. Ash Vs. Evil Dead
This is a whole different animal than some of the other shows on this list. Many of them are a more cerebral kind of horror, something that leaves the hair on the back of your neck standing on its ends. Ash vs. Evil Dead, on the other hand, is a brutal gore fest that meshes horror and comedy perfectly.
You can thank Bruce Campbell for that. He's a master of both genres.
But don't let the laughs fool you, this show is horror at its finest. The Evil Dead franchise is famous for firehoses of fake blood shooting from behind walls. It is, at its core, ludicrous. It's also a series that's very adept that drawing you into a moment, lulling you into a false sense of security, and then hitting you with the jump scare. Even if you see it coming, you're still not ready.
