"I'll be there for you when the rain starts to pour. I'll be there for you like I've been there before. I'll be there for you because you're there for me too." Indeed, one of the funniest and most well written shows of our time also has probably one of the catchiest theme songs and most upbeat title sequences in all of television history.
Friends, which ran with consistent side splitting laughs on NBC from 1994 to 2004, uses The Rembrandt's "I'll Be There For You" as its theme song, with a variation of episode clips and the gang goofing off in a very, very fancy fountain like the overgrown children they are, and I say that in the most loving way because, let's face it, it's impossible to not love these characters and that kind of introduction just showcases why we love and miss them so and wish that those rumors of a one off season reunion on NBC recently were true... For your listening pleasure,
Friends.
