10. Does Michael Scott Actually Have An Older Brother?

It was a throwaway line in the Season 2 episode Email Surveillance. Michael Scott, after realizing his secret plan to gain open access to his employees' work emails isn't really so secret, says in a talking head scene:
"The problem is that when people hear the term 'big brother' they immediately think it's scary or bad. But I don't. I think, 'Wow, I love my big brother.'"
The only other mention we ever hear about this supposed sibling is in the very first episode, when Michael tells Pam that the special filing place for Corporate memos is the trash bin. That joke, he insists after getting harangued by his supervisor, was his brother's. We know a lot about Michael's family after 9 seasons. We know his parents are divorced and he deeply despises his stepdad, Jeff. We even hear from Michael's mother, briefly, after he calls her to tell her he's getting married...again. (Even though he actually isn't...again.) With that kind of detail you'd expect to at least hear his brother mentioned at any other time, if not see him drop by the office at some point.
