10 Upcoming Netflix TV Shows You Need To Binge-Watch

7. Baby (Season 3)

Ratched Sarah Paulson
Netflix

Baby has been quietly engaging its fanbase since it first debuted back in October 2018. The Italian drama initially sparked controversy because, like fellow Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, its premise ran the risk of sensationalising sensitive subject matter - but as many soon found out, it does anything but.

It's a shocking look into the lives of teenagers and an incredibly thought-provoking one at that, highlighting the pressures that exist in high school through its various subplots, documenting the lives of its troubled and wayward characters in authentic fashion and spotlighting the consequences of the actions that some of them ultimately take.

It's not for everyone but Baby is a compelling watch that adopts a more hard-hitting and eye-opening approach to the stories that it tells instead of sensationalising them. And with the the truth threatening to come out for the likes of Chiara, Ludovica and Brando, Season 3 will no doubt bring the show to a close in a similar hard-hitting fashion.
