6. Lucifer (Season 5, Part 2)
After being saved from cancellation by Netflix two years ago, Lucifer returned to its new home for a second instalment last month and it was arguably the titular devil's most gripping adventure yet.
Picking up after Lucifer had returned to rule over Hell so that he could protect Detective Chloe Decker and the rest of humanity from any loose demons on Earth, the season dealt with the arrival of his lookalike brother Michael - who attempted to take his place.
But those eight episodes were only the beginning of what looks like it's set to be a hell-raising affair as a second set of eight episodes await. And, perhaps most exciting of all is the fact that a musical episode is among them.
Though we may have to wait a little while for the cast and crew to complete production on the finale (whenever production resumes, that is), the second instalment of Lucifer's fifth season is on the horizon and it will no doubt be worth that wait.
