10 Upcoming New Comic Book TV Shows To Be Excited About

The Walking Dead's universe will grow exponentially in the coming years (in spite of the fact that the show that started it all is coming to an end) but before Carol and Daryl headline their own spinoff, Rick Grimes returns in a series of movies and Tales of the Walking Dead takes us to a host of compelling one-shots, we get the upcoming Walking Dead: World Beyond.

Set a decade after the apocalypse began, this limited series doesn't focus on any of the characters from the original series or the comic books. Instead, it centres on the next generation of the human race that attempt to survive in the barbaric world that robbed them of proper childhoods.

What makes this one particularly interesting is that its status quo will be inherently different to its predecessors. The protagonists here grew up in the post-apocalyptic world and thus, have never had to adapt in the way that the adult heroes of The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Did. And it's going to be mighty interesting to watch as these characters come of age in a world that would rather they didn't.
