10 Villains We Hope To See In Daredevil: Born Again
8. Muse
At this moment, there are millions of Marvel fans absolutely buzzing at the news of Daredevil: Born Again. But there are also many people who are understandably worried. Because this soft reboot is under the Disney banner, there are growing concerns the House of Mouse will make it more kid-friendly, diluting the brutal tone of the original series.
A really clever way for Disney to put this unease to rest is to incorporate one of Daredevil’s most disturbing foes, Muse. He may have only appeared briefly in the comics but this guy made an unforgettable impression from the get-go.
In his mind, Muse is an artist, desperate to create an image of true beauty. But instead of using paint, he crafts murals with the blood of his victims, which number in the hundreds.
Although DD tries to instil fear in criminals, Muse seems incapable of the emotion. When Matt threatened to shatter the supervillain's hand, Muse broke his own fingers to prove the blind superhero couldn't scare him. When Daredevil's ward attempted to stop him, Muse gouged his eyes out.
Because the hype for Daredevil: Born Again is staggering, introducing someone as creatively unsettling as Muse would be a great way for viewers to get immediately invested in the show.
