10 Most Violent Shows On TV

8. Criminal Minds

48 Criminal Minds has always been a violent show. With a series that deals with serial killers every week, such a thing is unavoidable. Yet a few years ago when Criminal Minds came under new show runners, it got worse. Criminal Minds used to be a more cerebral show focusing more on the psychology of the violent acts than the acts themselves. However after the new writers took over, it felt more like watching a lame slasher film. Focus shifted from psychology to the violence of the serial killers and after this change, some pretty horrifying episodes happened. I personally stopped watching after an episode about a mentally challenged man in love with his sister's wife who killed women by destroying their sense with acid. This was just the last straw in a series of episodes that were disappointing as the series ceased to be an interesting psychological show and instead kept going for shock value.
