9. Nikita
Until recently, Nikita was the most violent show on network television. Even now, with controversially violent or gory shows like Hannibal and The Following, Nikita still holds a place. Nikita is a straight-up action series about assassins and shadowy government organizations. The series has numerous fight scenes using guns, knives or bare hands. There is also the occasional torture scene. Less gory in nature than perhaps other shows on this list, Nikita still remains one of the more violent shows on network television averaging of 7 deaths an episode which is nothing to sneer at for a network television show.
